Building on the success of last year's Waikato Interschool Model United Nations (MUN), the annual event returns! Organised by our dedicated volunteers, this event aims to provide an inclusive platform for dynamic debates, collaborative problem-solving, and interactive sessions.
Topic
The theme for this year’s conference is electronic waste. You will represent your assigned country in regional blocs (Americas, Europe, Asia, Oceania) by researching national policies, problems and solutions, collaborating on community-based business proposals or social initiatives, and drafting and presenting resolutions to the Model United Nations General Assembly.
Delegate Information Pack
The Delegate Information Pack provides resources for Model United Nations (including Rules of Procedure), explains the topic, guides your country research, and outlines how to prepare a product proposal (Day 1) and a draft resolution (Day 2). Please read it in advance.
